- When using the car, powersliding is of no help at all.
- If you are using a hovercraft, use R to jump when turning corners, this will help you keep speed.
- The best characters to use with the hovercraft are Banjo, Krunch, and Drumstick (if you have released him).
- To release Drumstick, you must have all the amulets and gold trophies on all circuits. Once you have these, go to the big carving of Wizpig's head and in the river around that there is a frog with a red thing on its head. Run over the frog and Drumstick will fly away.
- To get extra speed from zippers, let go of the accelerator just before you hit them and you will get a green boost, don't press A again until coloured smoke comes out of your vehicle. This also works with blue balloons.
- When trying to beat Wizpig the first time you must hit ALL of the zippers, otherwise you won't be able to keep up.
- To turn sharply in a plane hold R while turning. This will also make you bank and climb steeper.
- To turn sharply in a car hold R and Brake.
- There are 4 balloons in the main area in adventure, you'll need to find them all to get anywhere.
- Once you have beaten Wizpig 1, go to the billboard that displays your trophies and honk at it. You will be launched to Future Funland. To get back there later, just drive over the base where the lighthouse was.
- After you have beaten Wizpig 2, a new game will be avaliable. It is adventure two. The tracks are mirrored, balloons are platinum and the opposition is harder.
- If you get a fast enough time in Time Trial, you will face T.T. If you beat T.T. in on ALL of the courses, he will become a selectable racer!!
